The balneotherapy agent

On a day-to-day basis, they manage patient safety and the upkeep of the balneotherapy facilities.

The Hospital cleaning staff

They carry out daily room cleaning.

Care assistants

Carries out or assists with basic care as required (grooming, dressing, undressing, getting up, going to bed, helping with meals, etc.).

The coordinating care assistant

They act as an interface between the care units and the technical support centre. They also coordinate and draw up the weekly re-education schedules for patients.

The technical support assistant

They help patients on the technical facility with everyday tasks and with the installation of certain rehabilitation equipment. They clean the equipment themselves.

The activities leader

They offer a range of activities within the centre (library, arts and crafts, painting, etc.).

Social services assistant

They are on hand to help all hospitalised patients with hospital-related matters and prepare for discharge.

The stretcher-bearer

They provide transport and accompany patients to the various appointments scheduled within the facility (rehabilitation sessions, hairdresser, etc.).

The care manager / rehabilitation manager

They are responsible for organising the department's work.

The dietician

They determine which menu categories are suitable or unsuitable for a particular diet (salt-free diet, low-calorie diet, etc.).

The adapted physical activity teacher

They identify patients' physical potential and draw up a programme of adapted sporting activities.

The physiotherapist

They define the physiotherapeutic objectives and carry out the rehabilitation.
They help to educate patients and their carers.

The PRM doctor

They Diagnose and organise the rehabilitation programme.
They assess progress on a daily basis and adjust the objectives of the programme.

The neuropsychologist

They use tests to assess and re-educate different brain functions such as memory, concentration, visual and spatial identification, organisational skills, self-control, etc.

The speech therapist

They rehabilitate communication disorders related to voice, speech and oral/written language. Their skills are also called upon in the areas of swallowing and oral-facial motor skills.

The psychologist

They offer support to help reduce stress and worry, deal with thoughts and emotions, and find meaning in illness and disability.

The medical secretary

They welcome and provide information to patients, plan activities (consultation diary, admissions, etc.) and provide administrative follow-up (medical records, summonses, etc.) for the hospital department.

Staff from other departments

Pharmacy, DIM, UOH, biomedical, administration, catering, maintenance, transport, security, etc.
You don't always see them, but they contribute to the quality and comfort of care and services.

The ergonomist/ occupational psychologist

They support patients in their plans to return to work or school, retrain for a new career or enter training, by communicating with company professionals about the requirements of the workstation.

The occupational therapist

Their aim is to maintain, restore and enable daily activities in a safe, autonomous and efficient manner. They help to educate patients and their carers and suggest appropriate solutions.

The nurse

They provide care and manage the patient's various daily treatments.
