Admission procedure
On arrival, you will be greeted by a member of the international team who will guide you through the admission procedure.
In the event of surgical treatment, you will be admitted the day before the operation.
Religious services
During your stay at the hospital, you can ask for the contact details of the representatives of the various faiths.
For Christian worship, the Institut Calot chaplain is available to visit you and our chapel is open every day at your convenience.
Interpreting services
If necessary, we can put you in touch with an interpreter through our team.
Your discharge
Medical reports will be provided in French and English once they have been validated by your doctor.
Prescriptions and instructions in English and French will be included to ensure continuity of care on your return home.
Your discharge and return home will be organised and the International Unit can help you arrange transport.

The Institut Calot surgery unit has two premium rooms for international patients.
Relax in a comfortable sea-view room equipped with en suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV with international channels, sofa bed for your loved ones, safe, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. (Catering in the premium rooms)
Hopalia is our non-medical hotel, dedicated to our patients and their families.
With 2 flats and 18 rooms just a few steps from the beach, it's the best option if you want to stay close to our healthcare facilities in Berck-sur-Mer.

If you have any allergies, special diets, or preferences, please inform us. We serve meat and fish options, cheese platters, and fresh fruit daily, along with drinks and juices.
Breakfasts
Buffet breakfasts are served every morning from 7am, 7 days a week, in the restaurant area. Several tables and a shared fridge are available.
Lunch
You can eat at the Institut Calot self-service restaurant or at the Centre Jacques Calvé, close to the hotel.
Dinner
Meal trays can be delivered to the hotel refrigerator and eaten directly in your room or in the restaurant.
